Following instructions from the German Embassy, TLScontact will introduce 15 new waiting lists.
From 15 July 2026, new applicants will once again be able to register on the TLScontact platform and join the new waiting lists.
Important information
The German Embassy in Tehran continues to operate with severely limited capacity.
Until further notice, appointments will only be scheduled for applicants registered on the Legalisations waiting list.
In the near future, appointments will also be scheduled for applicants registered on the Employment: Fast-Track Medical and Care Professions and Employment: Fast-Track Other Professions waiting lists.
No timeline has yet been established for appointments in the remaining visa types, including applicants planning to begin their studies in the winter semester 2026/2027.
Existing waiting lists
The existing waiting lists will remain active.
Applicants already registered on one of the existing waiting lists may also register on one of the new waiting lists.
When additional appointments become available, applicants on the existing waiting lists will be given the opportunity to book a priority appointment within a specified timeframe. Further information will be published in due course.
