Please carefully prepare the documents listed below for your visa application. The required documents vary depending on your travel purpose, so ensure you review the list thoroughly and select the appropriate category.
All documents must be complete and meet the embassy’s requirements, as incomplete applications will not be accepted.

IMPORTANT: Duly completed application forms may be submitted up to six months prior to yourintended travel date.The processing time for Schengen visas, from application to passport return, is generally at least15 calendar days and can be extended to up to 45 days. Please submit your application at least15 days before your departure date.For further information regarding the processing and issuance of visas for Russian citizens,please refer to our website.If your travel date is imminent or lies within two weeks of your application date, please check ifyou can postpone your trip. In general, neither the German Mission nor the Service Provider(TLS) is able to expedite the process.Please note:All documents that are not available in German or English should be submitted with a simpletranslation.According to the Visa Code, the German Mission in Armenia is only responsible for processingyour application if your main destination is Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg or Sweden.Submission of false documentation or incorrect information will most likely result in a refusal oreven a travel ban to Germany or other Schengen States.The submission of incomplete documentation can result in a refusal.The German Missions reserve the right to ask for additional documentation at any time duringthe processing of the application whenever deemed necessary.Documentation sent via e-mail or contact formular, which has not been requested, will not beallocated to an application.The relevant information pertaining to the application process can be found on our website
