Payment for your visa application and appointment

To pay for your visa application you will need to make an online payment using Paygate within 48 hours after booking your appointment. This fee must be paid in South African Rands (ZAR) using Paygate and will be paid directly to the German Consulate in South Africa to process your visa. You can find the amount of your visa fee on the Visa Application Fees page. Please find out more details about the payment process in our user guide here. You will need to bring proof of payment with you to the appointment.
Please note that purchasing Express Courier Return is mandatory to receive your passport back after your visa application has been processed. TLScontact does not have the facilities for you to collect your passport in person. You can pay for this service at our centre TLScontact in Ebene. You need to bring a debit/credit card (Except American Express) along with you for payment on the day of your appointment.
